Guest Bonzi
I ran across a solid cement cinder block(probably around fifty pounds) in the back yard and thought of a new(at least for me) exercise to try. I use the finger tips, excluding the thumbs, to pick up the block and hold for time. Switching angles gives different effects. Anybody tried anything similar to this or does everybody do something similar but me?
Tyrannosaurus Dave
This is probably as good for pinch grip strength as anything else, given the variety of textures that people already train with. As far as fingertip strength, I find when I train pinch, the only place the chalk wears off my hands is on the fingertips, so to me, that is the critical contact point for pinch, even though I chalk the whole hand.
