CrakeN
The first thing that came to my mind when i saw the package was HeavyGrips. Don't know if this is their line of grippers? But i think the brand name is Iron Woody. I bought the 300. This thing is a joke.. Felt like a hard 2 maybe.. So unless u are an extreme collector, i wouldn't recommend them. knyaz
It looks like Heavy Grips is making other grippers
RiotGrip
I don't think they are affiliated with heavygrips. I have the bonecrusher 400 and it is a stout gripper. It has steel handles and weighs 2 lbs. It is definitely better quality than their regular grippers--more money though. I'd recommend the BC400 to anyone who likes a challenge. How would you rate in on the IM scale? The look impressive, but I don't want an expensive paperweight. Can they realistically be closed? I'd rate the BC 400 as close to or at an IM#3, but thickness of the handles gives it a different feel. I am able to close the 400, so it is realistic. It's spring is mounted almost flush to the handles which is deeper than any of the old HG 400s I've seen. Mine is a tough gripper for sure, but I have no idea how these grippers may vary. I believe BenCrush said he has closed this gripper as well.
