thearm95
thank you Wannagrip (and egg_uk & JS27) Here is the close - the successful '06 #3 for a double is the third vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuFhll9aBdk the clip contains: 1: brand new 06 #3 out of packet attempt (miss by 1/16") been saving this gripper up for out of pack MMO close but just missed it. 2: Old (circa 1990) Silver Crush #2 No Set attempt (just missed this also, gripper sort of rotated and the handles were off centre. Have TNS'd this one before but. 3: earlier gr8 '06 #3 for a double which ended up being my MMO vid. Teemu I
Good job! (Actually, that must be a 2005 GR8 #3 you closed. 2006-grippers have the coc-stamping on the bottom of the handles. IronMind introduced GR8-springs in 2005. Handles changed for 2006.)

thearm95
Thank you guys. Time now to get stuck into training to close consistently that harder #3 and 300N, then onto MM1. Good job!(Actually, that must be a 2005 GR8 #3 you closed. 2006-grippers have the coc-stamping on the bottom of the handles. IronMind introduced GR8-springs in 2005. Handles changed for 2006.) Thanks Teemu, I didn't know that; what you say makes sense though because I bought that #3 with just '3' on the handles from a store here in Sydney in mid 2006, and it was probably sitting on the shelf for a while after coming from IM in 2005. That 'new' #3 I bought direct from IM about November 06.
