I've been using chalk for awhile and the knurling on my grippers is filled with chalk. Anybody else have this, if so what do you use to get all the chalk out of the the knurling so that it is functional again.

Hey Jeff.  Yeah, I use the wire brush that I use to clean the battery terminals of my car (not the exact same brush though  ;)

Let me know when you want to train...

Use an old toothbrush. Wire would be harder than the aluminum and might cause damage. A toothbrush and a little water with comet cleanser will make your grippers look like new.

a wire brush WILL cause damage. I tried cleaning my #2 with a wire brush, didn't brush particularly hard, but now the knurling's lost its sharpness.

I ended up trying both methods. I think I liked the tooth brush/cleaning compound more. It's nice to have clean grippers again.

All I know about dentures is they don't fit. Why ? Well I have all my own teeth so there's no room. Inspite of being a Londoner and that the English are famous for lack of dental care, my teeth are excellent. I have seen some "blokes" who would not be able to clean up their teeth with a wire brush.
