wscorpion Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 (edited) Thanks guys! 5.5"*9mm CRS????!!!!! Are you a monter? Go give the KOASB a try. Not an edgin! Well, it's only from one supplier that I've found selling 9mm CRS, so I'm not quite sure a 9.5mm stainless would be another option already. Steel differs. Eventhough I have bent this 5.5" piece a couple of times now, 3 times to be exact, they were all from 1 batch. The steel from another batch from the same supplier was different and much harder. I felt the other batch was harder on 6" then this was at 5.5". So, I'll try to find other suppliers of 9mm CRS to make sure I can take on most 9mm stuff before I progress to 9.5mm (3/8") CRS or even stainless.... Still need to send a piece of this steel to Eric for calibration, but I'll wait with it until I got my FBBC order. If the stuff from the order feels easier then this then I will sent a piece to Eric, if it doesn't, then I know I definitely still need a long way to go before the KOASB will fall Besides that, I must admit that I had to use crushdown pads with this steel to crush the damn thing, thanks David Horne for the helpful crushpads Edited September 17, 2007 by White Scorpion Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."

wscorpion Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 Hi Mark, I hope it is harder than the Newer Bastards. Awesome Bend Then a 5/16 bastard, it should be without any doubt. According to David Horne the steel we used in the contest was harder then the newer bastards and this stuff is quite a lot harder then that steel, so guess I'm safe Quote Mark Vogels -------------------- "Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right."
