Don Larkin's 80 D Nail

Here's a pic of the 80 d nail that Don Larkin gave me to bend. He gave me this in I think 2004 and it had only a slight warp in it. I've been working on it ever since but I just couldn't finish it off before the last contest. This one seems the same (about the same difficulty) as the one I braced at the contest and then Acorn finished off from about here, before nailing another one unbraced.

I think Tim you were wondering about a picture like 9 months ago best I can get is a cell phone pic right now!

Thanks AP! I've always wondered what that legendary spike looked like. Looks like a tuffy one to me. I'd be curious to see how it stacked up against the keystone / fbbc ones. Have you ever tried one of those?

I haven't, but I suspect this one is a little easier than the FBBC 80d nails. I'm sure Acorn could give you a better gauge though. This is a nice tough rusty one and I'll be stoked when I finally finish it off.
