Wrists needed!

it seems to be that my grip is always getting stronger. and my forearms are good size, with pretty good strength in them. however, i have two weak pionts that give me a real problam. first is my wrists. they are weaker than the rest of my arms. when i train them they hurt a little. lever lifts hurt if i do the movement, but if im just holding it strait out it dont bother me. also those wrist excersize's you do when holding a dumbell with only one end having plates, ( moving your wrists side to side), realy bothers me!!!  ouch. also i never notice any improvement from this excersize! plate curls hurt a little to , but not as much. the other place i get pain, is where my forearm connects to my bicep. deep in the arm realy bothers me when doing hammercurls, or pinch lifts. perhaps all of you could give me some advice, or even a hurt free program that will boost my wrist strength?   ???

I know how you feel wrist strength is my weakest and probably always will be due to an operation on a broken wrist i had in my pre-training days.

The way i solved it was performing the wrist curl extensively. For a long period before the British Grip Championship i did the wrist curl almost every session for wrist strength and usually first. The basic wrist curl preferably done on top a table provides a lot of stress to the area without taking it to an extreme range of motion. This way you get the benefit of a heavy weight strengthening the tendons without tiring yourself out.

This way my wrist strength came on a lot between the relatively poor showing at the Endurance comp and the British Grip Championship.
