antarath Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 (edited) I watched the Worlds Strongest Man comp. 07 on the telly here 2 days ago. The competition was held in Norway. They used a 510 kg tire (1122 lbs.) and I thought that was..uhm...fairly heavy. Magnus S. only managed to do a couple of flips, and Pudzianowski had a hard time, did well, but didn't finish it. What is the standard... or is there any? Mats Edit: I was gonna change the topic, but oh well. Weight, not weightS Edited August 26, 2007 by Mats Erik Quote Real name: Mats Erik Engelsvoll
nickr104 Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 I think in most of the WSM if they are doing the 100' flip it is around a 800 to 900 lb tire. Quote Nick RosendaulI am a Upser"I slept with John Eaton and lived to tell about it!"
John Beatty Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Usually 700-800 for ams, 800-900 for Pro's. At the Snowman Challenge, we did a tire medley, two flips each 800, 1180, 1350. I think around 8 guys completed it. I won in 40 sec, Dave Ostlund & Brian Schoonveld were in at 44 sec. Quote I like heavy things.
