Nathan Say
People have had success with & without the BB grippers, so I would say that they're not necessary to close CoCs. I guess you could also say that CoCs aren't necessary if you want to close BB grippers. Lots have closed the #3 by using the BB ones & lots have closed the #3 by not using them. I think most say that a M is a good pitstop between the #2 & the #3 though.
Sybersnott
Nathan's right. I got my BB's directly for that purpose - it bridged the gap between the #2 and the #3 gripper.
JeffPeterson
Maybe I got a bad batch of BB's but my Master is definatley easier then my #2. My elite is much closer to a #4. I can close my #3 if I support my hand I am about a half an inch away from my Elite though.
DAN PETERSON
if your really interested in grippers and you also have extra money to spend i would go for it i would say they help if your BBs are where you want them it seems they can differ a bit.
