The iron grip dumbells

We will very soon be getting the first and possibly last batch of our biggest dumbell cast, and are trying to decide how many to request. It should weigh approximately 80.5kg, with a 2.5" handle and globe ends, but apparently cast iron undergoes shrinkage of 1 in 96, so it may be marginally smaller.

This is to be the first of a range of merchandise we are to market, and there will be a number of smaller bells also cast at a later date, all with the same thickness of handle.

Obviously these are being produced in Britain, and are therefore for sale within the UK. The price has been calculated at approximately £150 per bell, but is subject to slight change. This is excluding transportation of the dumbell, so if you are interested, then it may well be best to come and collect it from us.

If you are interested in purchasing an Iron Grip Dumbell, then please leave your names and contacts here, or alternatively email us at irongrip@ntlworld.com

Steve,

Are you interested or not?! We need to know numbers before the first one's ready for pictures, cos they'll all be done at the same time.

It basically looks like a cast iron globe dumbell, with a 2.5" handle. Pretty similar to the Inch, in fact. We just wanted to give it our own name.

Just want to draw attention to the fact that the name 'Iron Grip Dumbell' is not the official title of these bells: it is merely a dumbell produced by the publishers of copyrighted magazine 'Iron Grip'. We will come up with a registered title when the bells are complete.
