superfeemiman
Seems like were a lot more streamlined than one might of thought, though maybe that has to do with the people who aren't participating? What I mean is, it would be great to see some of the stats of guys with 9+ or near 9 inch hands and guys with less than 7. Anyway though, I love reading these stats, keep it up! Any input about the rankings on this list as to placement? It at least will give new folk a basis of what the grippers represent. Also, in an earlier posting I stated that BBSE grippers were near the top of the gripper food chain. They are, but the RB 330 is at least there with them and some think that it might be a little tougher. Keep those stats coming, the data pool is far from representative of this board and therefore the grip world. P.S. I won't add this chart to each post, but might start another post to reference from this thread. 'nuther P.S. What do y'all think about adding a column with the type set used to close your max gripper?

I.E. palm is considered first crease of wrist to first crease in middle finger and finger length is considered first crease in middle finger to the end of the middle finger. thanks to superfeemiman for this standard P = Palm Measurement F = Middle Finger Measurement H = Hand Measurement See Post 72 in this thread for gripper rankings and poundages to close I noticed that most of the heavy closers are trending to the top of the list which is ranked by Forearm Size/Wrist Size. Either these guys are predisposed to have bigger forearms in relation to their wrist or they have developed this relationship over many hours of training. An interesting trend to watch would be someone close to the top in this list who is just starting out(I.E. natural, God given). Check the progress and see if he advances at a quicker rate than someone not so blessed. Just a little food for thought.
twig
If we're going to go the whole hog, the ratio of forearm length to forearm circumference would be interesting. My forearm is 10.5" long from crease of my elbow to the crease of my wrist(the one where you start the hand measurement from). So 10.5" long, and 14.5" around. StalwartSentinel
The size of your wrist will increase with training - especially levering. You should sort all of this by max gripper close and see what patterns develop in regards to hand, wrist and forearm size. If you have the hand and wrist measurements that the stronger grippers have, you can gauge where you will naturally progress to, with increased training. That doesn't mean that someone with small wrists and hands cannot achieve the same grippers. It might just mean more work.
