Bob Lipinski Posted August 5, 2002 Posted August 5, 2002 First thing I did was close the 3 lefty, first time I did that. The pinching and wider range work I've done has made it much, much easier for me to set the grippers. Went for the super elite, silver elite, and #4. The super elite was unseasoned, silver elite semi-seasoned (around 20 forced closes) and the #4 seasoned by PDA. I got both the silver elite and #4 down to 3/4-1/2 inch (my wife eyeballed it), about a 1/2 inch improvement from March. The silver elite and #4 were both the same difficulty for me. The silver elite is softer through the sweep, but the sheer size of the darn thing makes up for it. Just from messing around with the super, I really couldn't feel any difference between it and my #4. Quote US Handstrength
Paul A Marsland Posted August 7, 2002 Posted August 7, 2002 Nice going Bob. A bet that grip of yours comes in handy when Deadlifting in competition. Paul. Quote
Bob Lipinski Posted August 8, 2002 Author Posted August 8, 2002 Thanks Paul! Actually, I was wondering if anybody else noticed this aboiut the grippers, ie the silver elite being almost as tough (if not as tough) as the #4. Maybe the 4 is stronger in that last half inch, I don't know, maybe one being seasoned (the 4) and the other not makes up for the difference, who knows. Quote US Handstrength
JeffPeterson Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 I noticed that too. It wasn't unitl I tried negatives that I noticed a differance at all. Quote
