Roark
Answer:Stood the Inch replica on its end between his feet as he stood over it. Placed his open hands on opposite sides of the top globe- not touching the handle- and swung or snatched the bell overhead. Question: What was he doing just before he died from a fracture of his skull?

Roark
Nathan, Sorry- no one has done it yet. Just figured I would have the story ready for the first person who tries it.

Sybersnott
It can't happen. That thing is too big and heavy for that kind of attempt.

Guest baldy
I bet you are a real blast at parties Joe. Be sure to bring your Inch replica next time there is a get-together involving strength athletes and alcohol.
supersqueeze
Joking aside, has a replica been deadlifted in that manner? Mike M.
Roark
Not that I have heard. The difficulty would increase as the 'equator' of the sphere became midpoint of hand placing. If the fingers were allowed to go 'under' the sphere, the feat becomes much easier, of course. But placing the midpoint of the hand length on the equator of the sphere decreases the number of men able to deadlift it- though there are some no doubt.
