JeffPeterson Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 Today at a strongman practise I tried someone elses three and closed it a couple times. It's too bad that there isn't one #3 that everyone must use to become certified on. Quote
David Horne Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 Well anyway, congratulations on closing that one. David Quote
Sybersnott Posted July 21, 2002 Posted July 21, 2002 Jeff, Who's #3 gripper was it? Please give us more details. Congrats to you... wanna try my 420 IP #3 gripper? Quote "I have always been strong. JeffPeterson Posted July 22, 2002 Author Posted July 22, 2002 The #3 belongs to Jeff Bissonnette. He is the NASS chairman for MN. My next goal is to close my own #3 and then and only then seek certification. Quote

Roark Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 Jeff, You are being too hard on yourself. If the company that makes the grippers says that the variances are negligible, then any 3 you close gets you certified. Do you think that Heath, who has come within a whisker of closing his #4, should disregard that achievement simply because the #4 I sent him is, according to him, 'two tons harder'? What if you find a 3 harder than yours? By the company's reasoning, a 3 is a 3 is a 3. Good morning, Captain. Congratulations. Quote http://www.ironhistory.com
