Guest snipes287 Posted July 19, 2002 Posted July 19, 2002 Hey I am new to the whole griping world but would like to get into gripping. I am 16 and have just started working out two months ago with considerable gains mite I add. any way I was just wandering what I should get, as in brands, and toughness. Quote
Bearcat 74 Posted July 19, 2002 Posted July 19, 2002 I say the Ironmind Trainer and #1, but that's just me. Quote Real Name: Heath Sexton Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ
Nathan Say Posted July 19, 2002 Posted July 19, 2002 Get the easier ones (T #1 #2) & then get the hard ones (M #3 #4 E SE WC). Quote
Sybersnott Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 Yes, I agree with Bearcat. If you've never done any formal grip training, start with the Trainer and the #1. Be advised.... grip training is contagious! Once you start, it'll be very difficult to stop! Quote "I have always been strong. Guest JoeQ1966 Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 I dont believe that grip training is contagious or addicting I can quit anytime I want, I just choose not to right now. Quote
Griparn Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 I was also a newbie(Im still) and I bought the #1 and #2. When I first got these grippers they felt stronger than I ever could have imagine. I closed my #1 and now Im up to the #2. My advice is: Get the Trainer, #1 and #2 at first if you can. Quote
Guest sjeff70 Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 I can quite any time too but I'm not addicted. :p I'm glad I got the Trainer and #1 because they are great for warm-up work. Plus I couldn't close the Trainer my first try! Jeff Quote
Mjoynt Posted July 20, 2002 Posted July 20, 2002 You might want to get the Beef Builder Beginner and Advanced grippers as well. The Beginner is a little easier than the Trainer and the Advanced is a little easier than the #1. Go to www.wwfitness.com. Quote
