Guest Christian
I was checking out this site and found they have some new products: http://www.newyorkbarbells.com/newproducts.html They have a leverage bar, thick grip dumbells, and wrist roller. They seem pretty inexpensive. I can only make assumptions about the quality without owning any of them, but I think I might pick up a dumbell to see. The leverage bar looks tempting as well...but sledge hammers are cheaper
Guest Shenandoah
I use a 4' 1" galvanized steel pipe as a leverage bar. Increase or decrease resistance by positioning my hand along the bar. I also have a foam padded baseball bat wrap around one end and marked off in increments.
Guest T-Bear
I have made a pinchblock out of 3 pieces of chipboard that I have glued together and drilled two holes one inch from the edge. Then I painted it with the same type of paint that is used on some ironweigthplates, we called it hammerpaint where I live. I have also made a thickbar out of a spraycan. I hang one straploop on each end and hang a dumbellbar in the straploops.
