Autolupus
Here's a good range of various size steel spheres, not too pricey either.: http://www.brindley-steel-forging.co.uk/sh...l_Balls2548.htm
AP
I bet that is circumference though right? So the 150 mm is about large enough to use but they are 13 pounds about $26 bucks each. That seems like a lot unless I am mistaken.
Autolupus
It's definitely diameter, who ever heard of anything being sold by circumference? The 150mm would have a 471mm circumference and weigh 32 lbs, if you can rotate a pair of those like baoding balls then I'd love to see a video clip! AP given your surmisings, the 50mm should suit you, and at 50p(about 98 cents) a pop, not really gonna break the bank! Autolupus
Just had a look around and found this spec page on the same site: http://www.brindley-steel-forging.co.uk/shop/Steel_Balls.htm
egg_uk
great find, looking at ordering some, shipping is pretty steep, picked three of the 25mm balls and its over £10 to post. so if i order some ill have to order quite a few different sizes to make it worth while. Autolupus
http://www.brindley-steel-forging.co.uk/sh....htm?popup=true 6 pairs from 50mm-100mm in 10mm increments + 3@40mm(same size as baoding balls) for a little over £50 all in, don't think that's too bad! I don't work for Brindley, honest! The shipping on steel will always be a killer though. Just check at your local metal dealers, I picked mine up for nothing, because I work in the trade, was just using Brindley as an example. DAN PRAYDIS
this is a good site too http://customironworks.com/30809-p-436.html
AP
I stand corrected! I guess I just thought it was too good to be true. The heavier ones would make interesting grip challenges in themselves... There's some really great stuff on the other site too http://customironworks.com/30809-p-436.html check out the rings for like $2!
