Wes Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Great feats Elizabeth! Quote There is a natural order. The way things are meant to be. An order that says the good guys always win, that you die when it's your time or when you have it coming, that the ending is always happy-if only for someone else.
OldGuy Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 David, can you give details about what Elizabeth is lifting in the video, and also describe the armwrestling training device setup? Quote Not afraid to ruffle feathers!

FrankyBoy Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 That was great to watch. I like the axe lever and the car lift. Quote
David Horne Posted April 1, 2007 Author Posted April 1, 2007 Elizabeth is very pleased with the comments. She says the constant training is paying off. We have a Ford Fiesta coming in the next few days for her to train on. David Quote
Hubgeezer Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 207.5k one hand liftDavid Okay, you just made a sale. On your website, you sell a handle for the one hand lift. What else do I need to attach the contraption to replicate the one hand lift? Hbgzr Quote
David Horne Posted April 1, 2007 Author Posted April 1, 2007 Either a long strong bar and chain like the video, or a loading pin, and of course a carabineer. David Quote
Hubgeezer Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Either a long strong bar and chain like the video, or a loading pin, and of course a carabineer.David I like the car lift the best on the Liz video by the way. I look forward to my son watching the video today when he is in town. Back on the one hand lift, if one uses a loading pin, is there a talent for "balancing" a long bar that is lost by using the loading pin method? Or is balancing a bar that long no big deal and not an art in itself? Quote
David Horne Posted April 1, 2007 Author Posted April 1, 2007 Yes the car one is cool, and she does a lot of reps with it in the dvd. As I said we have a Ford Fiesta car coming to train on, so hopefully she will lift the whole back end. The bar has the chain attachment attached right in the middle, and the discs are calibrated and balanced out. So there is no balancing required. David Quote
twig Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I get home internet access on Wednesday (unless something ELSE goes wrong!) so I can watch them then, looking forward to it. Quote Be nice until it's time to not be nice-Patrick Swayze, Dalton, Raodhose. R.I.P.
