Guest DavidHW Posted July 14, 2002 Posted July 14, 2002 I have one Olympic loading pin for one-handed deadlifts and weighted dips. I'm thinking about buying a second pin so I can do farmer's walks (I'd use the cable crossover handles in my gym, taping the corners so that the handle doesn't roll but remains stable). Question is, does anyone here use loading pins for FWs? Do the weights bang into your legs? David Quote
Guest Harlan Jacobs Posted July 14, 2002 Posted July 14, 2002 I have never tried that , but I bet they would hit your legs. You might try useing 25lb plates. They may not hit. I think it would be good to use the pin without putting the handel on it. Quote
Guest DavidHW Posted July 16, 2002 Posted July 16, 2002 Thanks for the input. I think you're right. I experimented with 45s on my present loading pin, trying to simulate how it would hang at my side. Too much shin knocking. And there's not enough room on the pin for the number of 25s I'd need. Oh well. David Quote
