John Beatty
Got a 50lb box of 7" x 5/16 bright nails on the way to work. Found them at Menards, haven't ever seen them there before. They only had 1 box, so I snagged. Once I get the chance to actually look at them & get the brand, I'll send a few along to Eric.

Tim71
John, Look at them close and see for sure if they're a full 5/16 inches in diameter. I got a 50lb box that was actually about 9/32 diameter although they calibrated at 290 which was 5 lbs heavier than the thicker chinese made griprites at 285. Felt harder too when I bent one. Very nice nail for my stage of the bending game. I think the brand I'm talking about is xcel. I bought mine at a Menards while out of town. Of course it would be better if you managed to find something totally different like a full 5/16 nail that calibrated at about 350 lbs. That would be perfect for me right now. Can't do the keystones or the Canadian ones I have and the USA griprites are just a souveneir for me right now. I wish there was more availability on the 70d nails since to me they look just awesome when bent. Tim
bencrush
Yeah 70Ds just look great when they're bent. I have mowed through about 50 of those so far Tim...
