Roark
David Horne's newest IRON GRIP issue arrived today. Several solid articles, but in particular the interview with Bruce White sparkles. Bruce at approximately 150 lbs bodyweight, struggled to deadlift his Inch replica for five years, then succeeded! That is 115% of his bodyweight! We call you Sir. Clayton
Once in an e-mail Vince Basile told me that Bruce White was 2 hand pinching close to 300 pounds. The number he gave was in kilos, and it was a couple months ago, so it may be even a little more. Pinch gripping double your bodyweight! I was impressed. Nathan Say
His hands aren't much bigger than mine, so there's still hope for me! I guess hand size isn't really important after all.
1stCoC
He was great when we were still sucking our thumbs! All around super grip strength....and pound for pound.....well you tell me! One awesome man and a real inspiration to me!
David Horne
Glad you enjoyed the interview. Yes, Bruce really is still something special, and like you Richard was a big inspiration to me. David
Gripster
Wow! He's only 150 lbs and he can lift it!? That's impressive... Are there any pictures of him doing it... That would be very inspirational to see him accomplish that lift; I would like to print out the picture.
Roark
A few photos with the article. Plus a rare photo of Apollon etc. Many on this board consider Mastery of Hand Strength to be a must-have book. I consider Iron Grip magazine must-have because of the articles about the history of grip. Subscribe!
