I have a question about positioning.I know you can use your other hand to get the gripper in position. The question I have is for me to get a good grip on the grippers  I close it alittle so my pinkie can get around it.I can close the coc2 by doing this.Is there a limit on how far you can close the gripper to get a good set in your hand..now im sure you cant close it till it touches and then take your hand off and call it a crush but is there any rules regarding positioning,or setting the grippers.

thanks        Joe

Joe,

To make if official when closing the #3, your other hand must NOT be touching the gripper hand when you close the gripper.  When I start a close on the #3, the handle of the gripper is parallel in my palm then I press down on the other handle till my fingers catch it enough to close; then pull it closed.  You might want to practice on a lighter gripper to get the hang of this.

thanks Sybersnot,,I use my other hand to get a good position on the gripper, but I do the close without touching any part of my closing arm.I just wasnt sure how much you could mess with the gripper before you closed it.I ordered a coc 1 today so I could do strapholds with it,,I can close the 2 but thats about all I can do with it right now.

thanks for the info on this,I appreciate it.
