I train Jr. High Football Players and Wrestlers, and I promised them that if they closed a gripper I would put their name up on this website.  Today was the first one.

Ryan Marcinko, 14 yrs. old, 130lbs.

Closed the trainer left handed and right handed.

Good job!!

Dave Yoder ;)

Very good job. I have taken the full set to the OH dinner and some of the well trained oldies could not shut the trainer  :)

Way to go Ryan!

Good idea Dave. Wrestlers can always use some extra grip on the mat, both limit strength and (especially) stamina. Best wishes to your team.

good job to all the kids doing this..Its good that you are training them about grip strength so young..You are only as strong as your weakest link and in alot of people it is the grip..You are helping them get a good base.

good luck to all of the young men.

Got another one, although he is a high school kid.  He just got the okay to start lifting this week after having shoulder reconstruction this past spring.

Rodney Brown, 17 years old, 225lbs.  Justin Browns big brother.  Closed the trainer easily with both hands.  1/16" on the #1.  Good job.
