Wrist Training Using A Board And A Dumbbell

Dumleman

Recommended Posts

It's quite brutal work. Usually I do them sitting (more strict that way).

At the moment the distance to the dumbbell is 42 cm (16 inch) but I might shorten that a bit because I can barely add some weight to the dumbbell :D. The board is 4.5 cm (1.8 inch) thick.

Useful exercise, and fine for getting to do plate wrist curls. We've used similar stuff before. Go slowly with the weight increase, or even better as you said slowly reduce the distance and increase the reps, then increase the weight for less reps, then increase the distance with the new weight. Then repeat.
