Guest Jeff Roark Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Well did he pull it the 50lber or what? Heath give us some insights on the difference in those SilverCrush grippers and the #4s that you own. Dang it call me when you get home or a chance. Quote
Bearcat 74 Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 The 50 was safe. I went to Iron Island with no expectaions of pulling the blob. Seeing a picture and seeing one are two seperate things, WOW. I also tried the original York 45's. I had respect for Mr. Sorin before, but after that, I am just in awe. terminator Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 That 50 was about the only thing that was safe at Iron Island. Just some insight for the Gripboard, Heath is not just the current #1 crusher in the world, he's a serious all around strongman. As for Mr. 3crusher.....that man is a monster. He may have been sorta hanging in the background on Saturday night but the shoe was kinda on the other butts at Iron Island. Steve, I want a two out of three rematch in the "dumpster lift" soon. Heath, send me some of that Tennessee water. :crazy Quote Real name: Pat Povilaitis
Bearcat 74 Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Steve is a BEAST!! He wore me out at Iron Island! And Pat, JEEZ, what a devious minded monster. I have never in my life seen a 180lber be so strong. He took a 150 LOOSE sanbag for an 80yd stroll. All the while he was waving at us, just to show his fingers weren't locked. The dumpster lift was crazy. He was picking up a dumpster full of rocs, wood, and other heavy stuff. I was in the precence of two REALLY strong men on Sunday, two that I call friends. Pat flipped a 600lb tire too, not bad for 180 huh! Quote Real Name: Heath Sexton Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ
3Crusher Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 Working out at Iron Island with Pat and Heath was some of the most fun I have ever had. Pat is one intense dude. What he does is unreal, but doing it at 180 pounds makes it all the more unreal. The sandbag stroll that Heath described was mind blowing. If any of you have ever tried to lift a 150 pound bag of loose sand, you know how hard it is just to get it to your chest. Now imagine somebody walking with it, waving his hands the whole time, and making it look as if he was carrying a light bag of groceries. It seemd that he was able to go on forever. Words can't describe it. He is also very imaginitive and extremely strong when it comes to odd object lifting. As for bending, you just have to see Pat in action. His whole upper body seems to double in size when he bends metal. Actually it is quite frightening to watch (cool). Heath is a monster. He picks up heavy objects in such a casual manner, it made Pat and me shake our heads in astonishment. He isn't just about crushing strength, he is an overall VERY strong guy. What he did with the Big Squeeze dumbbells was beyond my comprehension. Next time, the 50 pound blob will see daylight underneath its bottom. He also squats the deepest I have ever seen anybody squat. The strength world has only just begun to see what these two can do. It is a privilege to have shared a workout with these two gentlemen, but above that to have them as my friends. Pat make it 3 out of 5 in the "dumpster lift" and you have yourself a rematch. Heath while you're at it, I'll try a quart of the water you send to Pat. Quote Don't you get it? Think for yourself, don't let others always do it for you. Master of The Mind Boggling Bud Lift. terminator Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 Steve's right, if Heath goes any lower on his squats, he'll come up with a Koala bear stuck to his butt. Had an awesome time, all three days...thanks brothers. I thought that sandbag was fun, especially when that 400 pound tire got in the way. Quote Real name: Pat Povilaitis
RSW Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 Terminator, What is your best effort with the infamous Ironmind Red ? I think that Tom Black had estimated that it would be about as hard as a 4.5" Blue nail, so you must be very close to being the second man to bend it. Also, which bending style or styles do you use in your bending ? Robert Quote
