Give some triceps work (french press f. e.) a try. Everybody is different, but sometimes this helps.

Anyone else warm up before they AW? I'm not looking for any big secrets here, just an idea of what to do before a match to get my body prepared to pull.

two things are a must do to avoid any kind of pain, specially at armwrestling:

-make sure there is muscle balance, tha agonist and antagonist muscles have similar strengh

-keep joint mobility normal, usually after strong training or when there is pain, lack of joint mobility is the main reason

If your looking to warm up just for a quick match a work. Grab anything of wieght an do some arm curls and some over head ticep extension. This will get the blood flowing. Then do some easy side pressure against a door jam to warm up your elbow.

We used to warm up at AW practice, by AW another member, at say 25% power. We would go back and forth.... hook, toproll... left, right... his turn, my turn. Just enough resistance to get the blood flowing.
