GetAGrip87 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Well fellas, I bent my first Red tonight! I have been doing Ben Edwards "Bending Experiment" and he has encouraged me to try the Red. Ben and Travis M. gave me enough confidence and talked me up enough at the BBB to hit this steel hard today. Lot of horse power for a little guy right Ben? I got pumped up and used the techniques that I saw the top benders at the BBB use and what I over heard Greg Amidon telling another bender. It took me along time to finish it, about 20 freakin' minutes but I didn't give up. 15 minutes of it was trying to get it kinked, by then I was fried and had to fight it to under 2". Finally got The RED!!! Thanks for the encouragement Ben and Travis! Quote Scott Harris Jr. 5'6" 150lbs. My Training Has Completely Switched Gears! 2012 Goals: ... Wes Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Grats man! It's an awesome feeling Quote There is a natural order. The way things are meant to be. An order that says the good guys always win, that you die when it's your time or when you have it coming, that the ending is always happy-if only for someone else.

climber511 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Congratulations! See guys, just going and WATCHING the contest helped him set a PR. You have to believe it before you can do it, great job - it was nice meeting you there as well - you should have signed up and gave it a try. Quote When people used to ask him how it was he became so incredibly strong, it was always the same, "strengthen your mind, the rest will follow". The Mighty Atom Age wrinkles the body.
