John Beatty
This contest was simply amazing. The level of competition was evident early on when the grippers got rolling. I'm going to limit the writeup here, as the big one will go into STRONG! issue 4. It was just a great, fun, amazing show, with a high level on cameraderie. PR's & world records fell. Scott Styles
Great lifts everyone! Having seen Dave Thorton's dominance on the blob lift in the Michigan contests, Jedd's performance on the medley is insane. He must have been moving so fast he barely had time to grip the blobs. Jedd Johnson
Congrats to John Beatty for putting together a great contest, and to Dave Morton for stepping up and taking the title. It was a great time at John's place Saturday. Really enjoyed talking with everyone. After the contest, it should be noted that Josh Dale pinched both 3-25's and 2-45's for the first time ever. He then tried lifting 2-45's in one hand and levering a 14 pound post maul in the other. Thanks for going over that sledge/club technique, Doc and Nick. Great time with John Eaton driving, except for the driving itself. More later gotta get to work. -Jedd-

terminator
Awesome! First class competition and organization, way to go! I know it's easy to say afterwards, but I silently picked top 4 . I knew Dave would be a tough act to follow with grippers and bending so prominent. Glad to see him get a well deserved win.
