Cannon
Is it useful to train assisted lifts on vBar? Like lifting with two hands to get it moving, but letting go and trying to hold the weight with one? Or, is this just a recipe for hamburger hands? Mikael Siversson
Hamburger hands. Vbar is much like pinching where a good volume requires some sort of protection of the skin.

I like to train my york blobs and hex blocks with negative deadlifts, but the Vbar's a different lift, I normally do about 4-5 singles when I train Vbar and call it a night. anson
Sounds like a bad idea- too much skin friction.
climber511
Sounds like a good way to hurt your back to me.
Cannon
Got it. I haven't tried this yet, and now I'm not going to.
