Scott Styles
I've been to 3 contests, 2 of Bob's in Michigan, and the first BBB. In all 3 cases weights were available that made the events accessible to all. The problem is one of generating interest. IMO something like this should be the guys who are already good saying - Here's what someone who is a normal guy can achieve over time if he trains hard and smart. Actually, outside of titles, it reminds me of the gold / silver / bronze standards Hoffman set for weight training: http://danjohn.org/goldsilver.html I have to wonder if Dale Harder doesn't already have the data needed to set those values for the grip stuff. RKlein
"I have to wonder if Dale Harder doesn't already have the data needed to set those values for the grip stuff." Did not even think of it. Dale Harder would be the person to ask.
Florian Kellersmann
Very good idea! I was thinking about it before. We have two gripmasters and legends here on the board. Why not giving the rest the chance to get a title like grip master?
