Guest mikebyoung Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 I was wondering how many guys use their wrist roller on some sort of support. I personally don't. Should I? Thanks, Mike Quote
Bearcat 74 Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 I put mine on powerrack pins. You get a longer pull, set the pin at or above your head, you get a better workout, my shoulders couldn't hold the weight I roll infront of me, and it's more comfy. Clayton Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 Yeah, I also think it's much better to support the roller. Your forearms will be able to support a lot more than your shoulders. Quote
Roark Posted June 15, 2002 Posted June 15, 2002 Think of performing wrist curls with a barbell while the barbell is held in mid-curl position in front of you- the target muscle will be bypassed because the biceps are the limiting, positioning, muscle. So it is with unsupported wrist rollers. Quote http://www.ironhistory.com
AP Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 i like supported rolls as well but, using a lighter weight and doing them unsupported can give you an excellent workout as well. if you dont have a way to support them, but enjoy the movement, by all means continue. Quote Pastrami on Wry
