perrymk
What do you think of this idea? Take a pot for planted small trees. Maybe 10 inches in diameter. Fill with cement. While the cement is still wet insert a 3/4" PVC pipe so it points straight up. Let dry. Place hands on outside of pot and curl. This will be a partial curl or can even be a static hold. The idea is to work the side pressure. If needed add weight. The PVC pipe should be the right size for standard plates. The idea is that one has to apply side pressure to hold the pot. The slight outward shape of the pot will keep it from slipping as long as sufficient side pressure is applied. This should be inexpensive enough to make. JamesG
So basicly your using side pressure by having to push your hands inward while doing curls? This actually sounds like a pretty good idea.
Florian Kellersmann
Todd Hutchings also produces interesting stuff for sidepressure training: http://www.sidepressure.com/products.html
Yersinia
i would think that brick lifting as Garythedino do will help your sidepressure alot.

fightertrainer
http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/9748/sidepressure.html The man was strong yes, but you would want you arm bend in AW position, not necessarily in stretch position like that. Use bicycle inner tube attache it to a strong post, grip it side way then go for side pressure using body English. It works just as well. And it allows you to flop your wrist or to hook it too. It's cheap to buy BTW. I would grap it with a thick towel to make it feel like a fat hand to you're gripping. IMO it's better then most gadgets and you can change the angle by changing the height.
