AnimalCage Posted June 13, 2002 Share Posted June 13, 2002 With a plate-loaded dumbbell, I grasp the bar outside the plates and pivot the weight with one hand from the inside, over the top, to the outside and back, swapping hands on the inside. With fixed-weight dumbbells, I hub grip the plate and pivot the weight vertically, swapping hands at the horizontal.
