Bob Lipinski
http://powerandbulk.com/ushandstrength/mic...ripchamps5.html Put on by myself and Ryan Klein. Looks to be a great show. And, in case you didn't notice, there will be cash prizes for bending. Between sponsorship and promoters, $400 total has been raised and once I start accepting entry fees, I will raise the bar. Also, there is a $50 bounty for bending a 80d spike any way you can. Some off the wall events, some normal, and of course you can skip everything else and just bend if you choose. Date will be finalized in December or January. Sponsors are Fat Bastard Barbell and Strength Beyond, http://strengthbeyond.net
gamidon
This is a cool looking contest. I will try to be there, Dave may make time for it as well. No guarentees at this point. I have not bent DO in over a year, not sure if I really want to start up either. I was planning on going to BBB and trying a bastard bar and then stopping (I am hoping to get it bent without hurting myself ) Depending on the timing of this contest I may be able to come even if I can't bend I would still like to participate. bencrush
Sounds like your best contest yet Bob! I will be there. No problems this next year with work either. The FBBC rules (and stock) bending sounds great! Don't FBBC rules allow 5 minutes per bend though instead of 2? Not nitpicking. Just want to know. Bob Lipinski
I think the time limit will be the only change. 5 minutes is a little long for 4 attempts. Depends though, I am flexible for less attempts and more time.

The 2 minute time limits sound fine with me. That way we could also be added to the GripBoard Top 50 List. I just wanted to clarify because that will definitely influence the way I train for that contest for the few months I devote specifically to it. Thanks for the quick clarification Bob!
