moving backwards :(

I posted a couple of months ago with overtrained hands. I slowly built my hands back to strength after that, and with no pain started training again slowly as suggested. I got up to 10-12 reps with the #1 and was happy with the progress. After this my hands were a little sore so I left it about 8-9 days before I trained again. This time I could only close the #1 a few times, then the workout after that only once, and now, a couple of weeks later I can only close it on a good day. Anyone know wtf is going on??!!

Initially I had the same problem. So I experimented with different training frequencies. I do 2 full body workouts a week. This has worked great for me for years. However for grip training it wasn't getting the job done. After trying various intervals for my grip training I found that every third day works best for me.

So IMHO I would suggest experimenting with various intervals between workouts.
