layla
has anyone tried training grippers turned upside down? any benefit? I am currently working the c.o.c 1 and looking at the 2. I want real crush power and now have real motivation. My dad(retired) is being fired from a partime job because he wants to go on vacation, which was a condition of his hiring years ago. The boss is replacing him with his son and sons wife. We have a yearly pig roast and if they dare show up, I want to "shake"hands.I dont go squeezing everyone as hard as I can, but they NEED it. Oh if you want to boycott them, they are tri-j tool and fastner in grapevine tx.
TelegraphKey
Turning grippers upside down (inverting grippers) works the fingers differently. When it's right-side up (spring on top) the ring & pinky fingers are at the end of the lever, where leverage is best, for the weakest fingers, while the index & middle are towards the top, with a shorter lever, or worse leverage -- so the strongest fingers work the hardest part of the leverage. When inverted gripping, the weaker fingers have the harder leverage, so must work harder, and the stronger fingers have farther distance to travel to close the handle ends fully, so all the fingers are worked differently, which is good for mixing up the exercise.
