I got a #3 for christmas and starting training with it then, and closed it 2 months later. Prior to that I had been training with a 1 & 2 since september.

It took you 10 months to close the #3 at 17? Holy crap...I better get movin...I"m 17 now...maybe I can close it before I'm 18!

What has your routine been like? I'm very curious.

Thanks everybody

-Yah, 7 months total to get it with a paralell set, and 10 to get it no set. With a long screw around period where I didn't do much between March and May. I kind of wish I had bought a 3 in the beginning, but oh well. I trained for the no set by just closing the #3 with a paralell set a lot. I trained to close the #3 with a lot of singles on a filed 2, and I would attempt the #3 and shove it closed the rest of the way.
