Standard plates

Joe,

I have enough plates to last several lifetimes... ah, do they make 15 pound plates?  I get them in 5, 10, 20, 25, etc., but I don't think I've ever come across 15 pound standard plates.

Hard to imagine why, but Weider used to make exercise sets with 1.5, 3, 5, 10 and 15 pound plates back in the sixties, in addition to more conventional sizes.  Good luck finding any of these antiques.  There are a few 7.5's available lately in the shipments of Chinese plates but don't depend on the poundage.  I bought a bunch of 12.5's and they each weigh only 12, which starts to make a difference after a few pairs are on the bar.
