jimwylie1 Posted May 20, 2002 Share Posted May 20, 2002 Heath I can't actually pinch 2 45's at the moment so count me out of this challenge for the time being. I seem to be better at thick pinch lifts though and I think I would be suited to the blobs due to my hand size. David has a wide 50lb block weight that I found quite liftable on Sunday. I'll check it's dimensions tomorrow night. It's obviously nothing like a blob as the sides are not convex, but it is a wide pinch. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Before blob work Heath and I both pinched (5) 10 lb plates. This was MUCH easier for me than pulling the 40 lb blob to almost waist height. I was actually shocked that the 40 came up at all for me that day. The rounded sides make it want to squirt out of your hands in a rapid downward motion. In fact, last time I tried I couldn't even do a suitable negative hold with that 45 lber that Heath is casually holding in the picture. I do think you would do well with the bigger blobs though, Jim.
