Mounting Of Elite And Se?

What is the usual mounting on the Elite and Super Elite grippers?

There is a natural order. The way things are meant to be. An order that says the good guys always win, that you die when it's your time or when you have it coming, that the ending is always happy-if only for someone else.

Standard mounting for all grippers (unless custom ordered) is flush mounting AFAIK.

Forgive my ignorance but is flush mounting based on a specific distance to the center of the spring eye? Like 4.625"?

All of my standard BB grippers from BBM through BBGE have a mounting of 1/16". The only discrepency to that is one side of my BBSM is flush and the other is 1/16", making it one of the toughest BBSMs I've tried.

I just measured my Elite against all my other 17 grippers and it has the deepest mounting of all of them..it is a tough SOB. I have a few flush mounts and I just took about half an hour to lay them on top of one another exactly to see the differences and then I measured with a machinsts ruler I have..this Elite is about 1/16 below flush!! The spring actually is lower than the top of the handles by that amount.

I also have a flush mount "Cert" BBSM from Warren and that is a tough BBSM too.

I believe standard is a bit of disatnce maybe a 1/16 or so..most of my normal grippers are like this IE RB's..most IM's..etc.

Ready...grippers vary..but most of mine are right on...I do not have an "easy" gripper in the bunch!
