Everyone’s different and unique but I wondered how many people feel they gain better on low rep training as opposed to high rep training or timed holds.

I’m referring to ALL grip lifts not just grippers! :)

But appreciate some lifts do lend themselves more to one protocol than the over (the vbar are more a singles lift and wrist curls more reps/timed hold)

I use singles in my powerlifting workouts all of the time. They work great for me. My weights keep going up. I also love to use them in my grip training as my strength seems to progress much quicker than with other methods. They are my favorite.

That all depends on how your define strength. If you want to close a #3 gripper you are not going to do it by doing sets of 30 with a #1. You have got to do work with the #2 at low reps along with some negs and strap holds. It's no different than bench pressing. You will never do 500 by doing sets of 100 with 100lbs. Now , If you define strength by endurence then you need reps and time holds. Say you are training for farmers walks. A big crush grip is great, But it's not going to mean nothing when you are 50 feet into a farmers walk with 250lbs.You have got to have a good suporting grip.

So , Back to your question, Do both.

             Have a good one
