BIKERICH Posted June 4, 2006 Share Posted June 4, 2006 Just received my york 60lb legacy dumbell. actual weight is 58lbs. i cut the blobs off with a 4 1/2 inch dewalt angle grinder. blobs are 28.2lbs. each. the cut bar weighs 1.6lbs. just wanted you guys to know actual specs. blobs are truely a handful but have begun pinch grip training with them. Great report. If possible, could you post a pic sometime so we can see if they are the same or comparable to the old ones. I'm particulary interested in the edges. Thanks. BIKERICH Posted June 5, 2006 Author Share Posted June 5, 2006 (edited) Limited to pcs only. no pix. blob measures 3in. across beveled top from outer bevel edge and 18 3/4 in. around top and bottom.sides belly outwards, convex. smooth surface. chalk needed most of time. any questions just ask. hope this helps.uncut side(outside) is more convex than inside although also is convex.
