Levering Pain

Everytime I do Eric's sledge twist with my left hand (http://www.geocities.com/ltgodfrey/lever.html), i feel a pain in my upper forearm and elbow. when i do them with my right hand it feels how it normally should. Is this something that could lead into an injury?

Edit: the pain only happens when i lever the sledge facing the body and try to turn upward

If it hurts, your body is telling you "you better stop this or something is going to get broke", so in general, I'd say leave this exercise alone for a while and try stretching, and if it still hurts, don't do it anymore.

This pain can happen due the stretch when the palm is facing down. Don't overstretch--go slow and focus on keeping your entire arm very tight. Squeeze the hammer hard and flex the entire upper arm when you hit the stretched position, this will help.
