TelegraphKey
I think Farman actually worked, hammering the sledge to bust rocks or whatever. That must have been part of his "training," real training. All too often, guys who work everyday doing some hardcore physical task, are stronger & better at it than guys who merely "train" it as a workout. So I bet if Farman hammered those sledges, his biceps, shoulders, back, etc must have gotten mighty strong, commensurate with his wrist lever power. I'll second that, real work often produces results that training would have dificulty matching, especialy in tendon strength/durability. Don't forget that Farman has Big hands and is a big guy as well, both his work and his genetics lean towards being great at levering.
