Effects from grippers?

I hope this isn't a ridiculous question.  If I used the COC's, would they cause my hands to have abrasions?  I'm asking because I work in an environment that doesn't favor cuts or abrasions on my hands.  Thanks.

The simple answer to your question is yes.  They may not cut right through your skin, but they will cause microabrasions, and tear the top most layer of skin off the high pressure areas when using the grippers.  I'd recommend using a lot of chalk when you work with the grippers, as it will reduce the abrasive effect.  Eventually you will develop callouses in the pressure areas too, which are less likely to tear.

Corbon,

You could just wrap the handles with athletic tape. That works well for my father, who works with his hands and must avoid cuts and abraisions.
