DCTama
Ive been looking at CoC videos and ive been looking at how to do sets, despite this i can never seem to be able to do the last part of my squeeze, im a tiny bit away but i think its my set, and i have 7" hands if that makes any difference. Heres the link to see me gripping: http://media.putfile.com/CoC-T-100lbs

John Eaton
I had trouble w/ that too. What helped me was a choker close using a hose clamp. It shows you where the best leverage on your hand to close the gripper is. Plus it shows you that you can close the gripper (confidence builder), So put the gripper in a vise close it down to 1/8" (be careful) and tighten a hose clamp around the top of the handles. give it a try and it should help. Scott Styles
Vid didn't work. Offhand, I'd guess you don't have the gripper handle high enough on the palm of your hand and you are not flexing the thumb prior to setting the gripper. mobsterone
Or you aren't as strong as you need to be. It's normally the reason why people can't shut some grippers.

TelegraphKey
Take an even easier gripper (say, IM CoC Sport) and do hard static holds, trying to grind the handles together. Just do singles this way. Rest a bit (seconds, minutes or hours, up to you), then do another/more singles-static holds, grinding the handles together. Every few days or so, attempt the next stronger gripper. Also, take a piece of rope or a shoe string and put a little weight on one end and hold it in the bottom of the handles -- called a Strap Hold. Alawadhi
saw the vid. the gripper is rotating in your hand. what you can do i to use chalk and place the gripper locked in your thumb pad.
don chi
I believe Alawadhi is correct. It seems to slip at the end. Tighten your thumb and/or use chalk.

Obviously you've done it now so that wasn't the case but I was at the same place in your avatar with a CoC 3 for ages before I finally got it. Many are.
