nads
Hi everyone, I've got into grip training in the last few months and I'm having trouble with the technique. I'm closing the CoC #1, but at the last moment the handles don't touch - they just kinda rotate and miss each other! Is this a normal problem? Any tips for getting the alignment right? Cheers, Nads

Scott Styles
Yeah, standard gymnastic or climbing chalk would help. You should be able to find it at a sporting goods store or outdoors store. With smaller hands (mine are 7" as well), you may also find it helps to set the gripper. Here's a video of what that looks like: http://www.gripfaq.com/gb/20060119TwoClose.wmv Take look at the article by Heath Sexton on farmstrength.com to get a little more info on the grippers. Probably the best introduction out there: http://www.farmstrength.com/ClosingBigGrippersFinal.doc
