I only had him @ 200 because I thought he missed 220 but I have been wrong before. Chad if you got 220 let us know and we can change it. My mistake if he did.

You're probably right - my memory isn't what it used to be - and it wasn't much before!

I thought Chad pinched 220 also, but maybe he missed it. I've thought about it too much and now I don't remember. :)

I pinched and got 200 on my 2nd lift...but then I jumped up to 220 on my 3rd lift and I missed. So...I was only successful at 200. I know bummer dude...but maybe I will get it next time.

I would like to thank everyone that came out. I had a great time watching you guys compete, but I will not be watching next time :rock . Hammerhead is amazing, anybody that is into bending long bar he is the man to talk too. Heck he even broke a chain Atom, Slim style. He is truely a steel master. Brookfield watch out theres a young buck coming up.

Richard Sorin is one of the father of hand strenght. I was excited I got him on video pulling blobs and blocks. I am planning a trip to Sorinex to see this mans world. Thanks to both you guys for the donations and for coming. It means the world to guys like me that dream of someday being as great as you two.

Everything went very smooth for us as this was our very first contest. heck we had only been to one other contest( GGC) so I will say thanks to Jed and Smitty for the donations and for schooling us on contest.

Also thanks to George for the cool donations, everyone enjoyed there new toys!!

The guys competing were great, like said before everyone helped everyone. Friendly contest, I know we had some new guys there and hopfully they took with them some valuable knowledge on grip.

I have some video of the contest and as soon as I get a few minutes I will put some on the board.

Congrates to all the competators!!!!

I can't wait until next year!

Congrats to all the competitors! Great numbers guys.

I have a gripper question. Was the RB300N harder than the Ironmind #3?

Ben - as you know , I can't close either one of them but here's my story with them. I started right hand and closed the # 2, then the SM, then I tried the RB and failed - the sweep felt softer than a normal COC gripper but then it got very hard very quick. Left handed, I started with the #2, then the SM, then skipped the RB and went to the COC #3. Left handed (my weak hand), I came closer to the #3 than I did to the RB right handed. Hope that helps.

The Rb was mine and I called it under Jonathan #3 which is about the same as MM2. Event day I closed the 300N but missed his #3. That's why we placed it before.

We used Scott Geroge's pinch apparatus- it's identical to the Euro Pinch as far as feel goes. Wanna posted pics of it in the Equiptment forum, he owns one.

My pal Jason has one, and yes, it's a very fine piece of equipment.

Check out my gallery, I've posted some pics from the comp. The loading platforms we used in the support event were pretty interesting, the first one was HIGH (nipple height on me). I'll post more images as I get them.
