1stCoC
My son Bert walked into my office this morning VERY excited....On his way to the lake this weekend he spotted by the doorway of a popular store/grill of all things a pair of Ironmind silvercrush #2 and #3 grippers still tethered to the metal stand built 12 years ago.I lived near there and loaned the set to the store owner to use as an incentive contest for the thousands of patrons passing thru.At lunchtime for years LINES of stout construction workers and vacationeers tried to win the two cases of beer prize. The previous owner said in all that time the #3 never went down and the silver #2 only bit the dust once! After finding out that the set belonged to me the new owner kindly gave them back to Bert to return them "home". Welcome back boys!

paul valpreda
That is a great story! Were the grippers still in good condition?
BarBender
I had a silver crush number 3 from 1992 but somehow lost track of it in 1995. It is still missing.
1stCoC
There was 12 years of sweat and tying on those old guys.....the #2 is a lot easier than I remember it and the #3 silver is still a bear!I would suppose it is 500 to 530 inch pounds.
