About Kta Program

I'm thinking about getting the KTA program, but before I get it, what all equipment do I need for it? I have grippers, but is there anything else along with the training?

Sorry if this has been asked before

You will need a pony clamp or TTK, probably much better off withthe clamp. You will have to file or have a filed gripper and you will have to have some sort of straphold devise, shoe string, nylon strap, etc. I think that is about all.

A few loose weight to hang from your strap for the strap holds. 1.5lb, 2.5lb, 5lb, 10lb should do it. And you should deffinitley get the KTA program as soon as possible. It helped me go from #1 to the #3 and the second time I went through with honest effort I ended closing my #3 for seven singles in one session! :yikes Boy I miss those days...bending is taking all of my time lately, but I will soon return to the meat and potatoes of grippers.

Instead of a filed gripper, will the IMTUG work?

No, because filed grippers work the beyond the range close, a tug is a short fat handled little beast that does not go beyond the range. The TUG mught work for thumb work. I have never used a TUG, but I would still go with the thumb clamp.

TUG is alright for pinch work but if you cant pointer/thumb close it for afew reps get the clamp,I would use the clamp even if I had a TUG, and I do have a TUG.
